Repairing a hole in my just bought 97 sea ray 190

Hi all, new here with my first boat, a 97 sea ray 190. It has a cracked engine block but I've worked on engines for a while so I'm pretty confident I can take care of that. I've never worked with fiberglass before so I'm hoping I don't get into too much trouble. The boat does have about a quarter sized hole right below the rear of the windshield. Seems like the boat ran into a corner. My intent was to install a tower on the boat but this hole worries me since its pretty much where one of the mounts would be so not sure about the structural integrity of that spot. looks like there is a lot of info around here so hopefully I can get this fixed myself. Bottom of boat along the front also has about a 4 inch scrape but doesn't look like it went through. Any info/comments are appreciated
