Anyone ever repair one of these. The Taylormade fender cushion is the double or triple fender .Pretty big and pretty expensive. There is a nickel size crack in mine so it does not hold air.Its still plenty rigid so not completely necessary to repair but gonna give it a try.I think they are made out of pcv material. 3M 5200 was my 1st thought but I have had some great results on flexible plastic with E6000.Anyone successfully repair a Taylormade fender? What about GOOP which is fairly bulletproof. I think the 5200 will work too.

I'd probably want to stitch it together with high test fishing line then cover in goop or the like to help it from popping open again.

Then again, in the grand scheme of things, what's cheaper....a new fender or gelcoat repair? Last gelcoat repair I had done on the FourWinns was 1k - years ago. I could buy a lot of fenders for 1k. Just sayin...

the goop is worth a try.The issue I see if finding something that will stick to the fender which I believe is a pcv plastic like some zodiac style boats.Stitching will require drilling of holes since the plastic is so thick.Taylor made makes some heavy duty fenders especially this "fender cushion".It is very usable in its current state even without holding air it will function fine.Charlie

Clean the area very well, even scuff it up with something abrasive. Mabet even put a little taper on the edges to give the goop a surface to bite on. Repaired a set of waders about 5-6 years back with goop, still no leaks!! I use that stuff alot, never failed me yet !!

bud of mine uses the standard bumper sleeves that his wife sewn together. takes the cheap $7 attwood bumpers.

easier to store than the goofy taylor made cushion and about 1/5th the cost.
