Removing top cap, Ideas?

I am just curious to hear the ideas out there about an affordable way to remove the top cap on a bass boat. If anyone has any good pictures or plans I would love to see them. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Read the completed restoration threads....... use the search function.

I am just trying to make your planned restore go easier. Many times people will post a question (honest questions) and wait for a reply only to find out it has been covered before.

Removing the cap is real affordable..... a few friends, some beverages and "usually" a working drill to remove rivets or screws. A mallet and some patience.

Yep, and on some boats you have to take measures to keep the hull from spreading while the cap is off and repairs are under way. Read the restoration threads...several here have done full restorations that required removing the cap.
