Removing thru hull fitting

Guys I am looking to install my bilge pump and livewell pump but I have a question about removing the original thru hull fitting. Are there any particular tools to use in order to remove it? Would you have any advice when installing the new fitting?

All the ones i have seen have large nut on the inside holding it in. Remove it and then pull it out from the out side. usually takes 2 people.

As for installing one. You will need a sealent that can be removed so if you ever need to take it out you can. poke it in and install the nut..
