I have a 1994 sea swirl striper with an OMC cobra 5.8L engine. I would like to change the spark plugs but there's no room to get in there with my fingers and the manifold so tight. How the heck do you get the plugs out? thanks!

Yep,those 5.8 Cobras are a real pain in the butt!
Even with the T-handle spark plug wrench its a job.

Autozone sells them too...you will need it.

I was just looking for that Bt Doc....:)

I made one of those sockets and it really helps but the T handle worked better on the OMC's
I had one that was so hard to get to on a 5.8 that my neighbor with really small hands had to get some of the new plugs started going back in.
Really makes you wonder why they design something that way...
That socket is great for some Mercs too.

Re: removing spark plugs

dunno.
I have about 8 modified plug sockets in both 1\2 drive and 3\8.
one of the 22 shamrocks I service with a 5.8 pcm, takes me about 6 hours and half my tool box to change 8 plugs.
