I have a 22' Inetrcoastal bay/flats boat with soft flooring and a failing transom. Before I go swimming I thought I would make the repairs. The top deck is a molded piece that overlaps the hull and comes down the gunwhales and across the deck. There are molded components that form storage compartments. This all appears to be one piece and should be removable. If I can "lift" this off, I could expose all the wood components on the floor and transom, and check into the stringers and floatation foam as well. Anyone had any experience with this kind of project? Thanks in advance.
