You want a type 33 cable.

I bought the teleflex extreme cables from Boatfix.

Yes, they are the same for both.

I suggest you buy the highest quality version that teleflex offers(tfextreme) for the shift cable as it has the most bends and the most force applied to it.

The link above referenced the Teleflex cables that are lower in quality than both the Supreme and TFextreme models

Unfortunately the i-boats link does not allow shipping to the UK, but I am in a hurry now so will buy in UK.
Is it the type CC633 in the link below for the Xtreme cables for both the shift and throttle?

From the point of measuring the length of them, would they be the same as the existing OMC type cables I have on there now?
Any advice on fitting them correctly guys.
Sorry to be a pain I just want everything to go right and you have all been so helpful on this subject.

It's going to be a little trial and error. That is why you don't hook up the cables to the control and then mount the control until you are all the way done.

I would start by putting the ends that are at the engine and drive on first in the middle of the adjustment range and then see where that ends up at the control. That way any adjustment that needs to be done at a later time is done at the engine and drive which are more accesible than the control.

Just fitted the unit, the original shift cable would not fit either.
I put in on the remote unit the only way it would go and there is too much cable protruding from the drive end to line up with the shifter.
Bought a new cable after all.
Did anyone else experience this?

My OMC style fit fine. You had to adjust both ends to make it line up though.

Finished the whole thing yesterday.
Movement is not super smooth or am I being fussy.
How good should it actualy be?
