Relocating Battery

I have 25hp Evinrude with electric start mounted on my 15 ft. jon board. I need to move the battery up front, to balance out the weight.
1. What guage wire do I use to run from the battery to the motor ? About 10 ft away.
2. Can I run the main battery line to a terminal that will allow me to hook up the 25hp motor and a trolling motor.

Ayuh,...

I would think 2ga. or possibly 1ga. should carry enough ampereage to go 10'...

Having an insulated Buss Bar for the (+),+ a seperate (-) would work for attaching the motors...
Maybe even terminating the cables into a slip-plug as used in some portable Winch applications might even work Better...
