Registration for thrift store boat?

I may have made a big mistake today. I saw, and bought, a 9 foot Zodiac at a local thrift store (in Florida) today. It appears to be in good shape. The only proof of purchase I have is the cash register receipt from Goodwill (for all of $50). When I got the boat home and unfolded it, I saw that it has a North Carolina registration number stenciled on the side.

Looking at the Florida boat registration information, I can find no way to register the boat and get a Florida number. Am I screwed?

Only matters if your going to put a motor on it... Zodiac may be able to produce an MSO for it using the HIN.
