Having finally got my lower unit off my Mariner 60 hp triple. To stop the drive shaft spline binding up again, what grease is best for this?I have copper grease, graphite grease,or regular automotive grease-the motor is used in salt water-will only use a small amount to avoid hydraulic issues-what do you guys use?

A good moly based grease with at least 60% molybdenum disulfide..

Mercury makes an anti-corrosion grease that will prevent the salt water corrosion and sticks like glue - here's a guide to keeping that motor free moving
