I have a weak spot in the center of my floor (between the driver and passenger seats) all the way to the front of the boat. What do I need to get started on repairing this? What are the steps that I need to take? Is it hard for me to do myself or do I need to take it to a boat shop?

Thanks,
Gene

well depends what you think you can do. i am currently redoing my champion bass boat. this is my first to ever try. i first started with measuring out the floor plan and measuring out the floor hight from the top side of the boat to ensure i get it right. after i got the top off the subframe i took more measurment. im am currently at the stage of putting the frame back in. i have never done any fiberglass work so i have been reading and studying every chance i get. how ever my brother in law that gave me the boat has done some fiber work so i will be having him assist me. im sure my work will not be as if a pro did it but im am willing to learn how to do this and what better way but to just get out there and do it
