Hey Pony, good description of NL vs. AL. Wow, you're a quick study!!

Believe it or not, George Will in his book "Men at Work" makes the case that AL Managers have it tougher. His case in point was the Oakland A's Manager at the time . . . Tony LaRussa. Will's argument has never made sense although I think LaRussa is a genius. He claims that the American League Manager has to work harder because the pitching decisions are not forced on him, a la the NL . . . I don't buy it.

Rick, What a game last night! I am sure not many people watched it and did they ever miss a great ball game!!!

Them Tiger pitchers, blow, real bad.
Don't they teach them how to field and throw a bunt?

I know, they are pitchers, but gezzzzzz, you would think they could throw a ball 60 foot or so, in a straight line.

What is that now 5 errors on the pitching staff? They can get it to the plate at 100MPH but a lob throw seems to really confuse them.

What about that outfield? That was terrible. Never seen that many divots unless it was John Daly on a PGA course.

Unbelievable.... Cards definetly got a gift last night.

My,o,my Kagee I hope your right, that would be the best thing that they could do. Everybody in St.Louis is praying for that to happen. We have Kenny Rogers tee shirts, Kenny Rogers Pine tar gloves ,a whole list of Kenny Rogers products to greet him with.

I can't believe how bad the pitchers for the Tigers are in fielding. They gotta do better than that to beat the lowly Cards! Shucks, the end of the year even the Pirates were beating the Cards! How bad are the Tigers? :devil:
