I just purchased a beautiful 1970's Winner Tiki boat. I am almost positive that it is a Tiki from the pics that I have researched yet it has a Mako emblem as well. Any reason for this? My real question though is I have a red light right underneath my throttle lever that stays on red until I get to mid throttle. Does anyone know what this red light is? I have tried reading it but it seems that letters are smeared. I figured that maybe it was a low speed reader or maybe a neutral reader but I cannot tell. I dont think that it is a HOT warning because as soon as I throttle mid way that light goes back off until I shut the engine off and turn back on then it comes back on until mid throttle. My outboard runs perfect and does not overheat and sounds fine at idle so I am weary and wondering what this light is. Any help I would appreciate. Thanks
