With these record breaking temperatures in the northeast U.S A., I wish I hadn't winterized the boat so soon. I could have gotten 3 more months out on the lake!
It's Christmas Eve and it's 70 degrees!
I think I like this global warming stuff!

Below average temps with a 8-12 inches of snow down and more on the way here in Colorado. Mountains are above average snowpack with more falling now, and more on the way.

El Nino really robbed us this year. This will be the year with no winter! Mid-to-upper 80s here and on into the foreseeable future. Ugh.

It did get down to 39 last Saturday with a high that day of 63, normal temps for this time of year. But it only lasted ONE day. Argh!

We too have a very warm day today upper 70's to almost 80. However, when you see the records broken and it has been many decade since last time we've had such weather, it tells me everything is cyclic and not something to get too excited about. But that is just my warped thinking.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I for one am greatly appreciating our El Nino winter here in S/E Michigan. The El Nino can hang around until April so then we can jump right into spring. After the last two winters here this one is most welcome so far. It was 62* on Tuesday and 58* today. Could almost have kept the boat in the water but we will have colder temps before its over I would wager. I am going to enjoy the mild winter as long as it lasts.

High 60's here in Central Pennsylvania

Good news: Haven't had to haul any wood for heat. I have goethermal and passive solar so it may run on the geo maybe for 15 or 20 minutes early in the morning.

Bad news: I have a log home surronded by woods a half mile off the main road. We are now once again being over run by Asiatic lady bugs coming out of hiding.
