Recommend a dwell meter

Wondering what dwell meter you recommend. Reading reviews it seems as though some of the digital ones aren't always consistent.

Definitely go with an analog one if you can still find one. I got lucky in procuring mine years ago. I've never had much luck using even a quality digital multimeter for setting dwell, ymmv

I was given a Craftsman engine analyzer with the box and all cables to do multiple tests, including dwell. Just like this one here: Vintage Sears Engine Anazyzer

I have one of those and it worked well on my old scorpion.

If you still have points, get one of the electronic modules to replace it.

Would not recommend replacing an oem system that is still operational. Points, although recent quality of replacement parts has been suspect, I'd recommend keeping the conventional system. It's proven and, again parts are questionable but I've seen out of the box upgrade kits failed initially, ymmv
