All the kill and emergency kill switches do is ground the power pack by closing the circuit on the black and yellow wire.

One of the "M" wires on your ignition is black for ground, the other "M" is the black and yellow wire running to the powerpack through the harness.. Turning the switch to "Off" closes the circuit. The emergency switch does the same.

As mentioed earlier in this thread, you eliminate them from consideration by disconnecting the black and yellow wire at the powerpack.

If the motor starts at that point you will have to choke it to stop it,

BTW; As Joe Reeves keeps reminding us, any electric current at all on the black and yellow wire will instantly kill a powerpack and you will get no spark afterwards.
