Re: Rebuilding a 'toon.

Thanks for the info Cubbyblue22. I fired off an Email to the JJVs company and only got back "it should do it". I fired back that "should do" it was not good enough and that they should have done extensive testing and told them that Muriatic acid was the only thing that I have found that would touch it. Asked how their product compared. Told them that I should not have to prove their product at my expense and invited them to do the test on my boat and film it. Waiting on a response. I suppose LOL.

One thing I don't like about email is you really don't know what the wording really means from the other person. I called them on the phone and they were really helpful through that route. Also it's a small company trying to get big, and i'm sure you got a reply from someone that wasn't sure about the product or just someone replying to emails. I would give them a call first. Sorry to hear you didn't get a good response.

Re: Rebuilding a 'toon.

I have had good comm's with Victoria. Spoke with her today and she was most helpful. A Qt is on its way. I will take pictures, write details of the process and send them to her. It will all be posted on this Forum. This boat is a tough one so if the stuff works on this it will get my endorsement. My info will be going to NAPA also so if it works NAPA may start carrying it. First things first, let's see if it works.
