Looking for a rear view mirror for the boat. Had one on the cruiser which was 4 x 8 I think and did ok. Thinking about the 2.5 x 8 but never tried one. Last thing I need is more blind spots looking forward with current boat.

Could Mount off the hard top supports but not sure how much or where it would work best.

Just looking for ideas and what others have used

I won't run without a mirror. My current one was a clamp-on mount and I felt it was not secure enough, so I drilled the windshield frame and mounted it rock solid with small SS screws.

Very slight blind spot, but slight head movement corrects it.

Sorry, can't remember the manufacturer.

That's looks same size as I had on my cruiser.
Could put it next to center support pole, but maybe on the hard top post. My main concern is this boat already has a lot of blind spots, so adding another is the issue. Further away and higher would be better but wonder if it will give enough visual area

I originally bought a 2x8 and got rid of it because of view-ability. It covered too much of the windshield. I tried to find the awesome mirror that I had my 1984 boat, but could not find it any more. The old one was convex and showed the whole view.

My current mirror (in the pic) shows a good view, but it's similar to a mirror in a car, but maybe a little wider. Best I coukd come up with.

Thanks
I do want convex so it covers more area, but as before it's just the blind spot thing

It's a a sorry state today. The millennials today don't have a clue, or don't care. Some of the old products are no longer available.

Just thought of something but is more complex

Look for a car for the Admiral and looked at one with a rear view mirror which is also a camera. So if you have things in the back that obscures the view, flip the switch and mirror is now a camera with same view. Begs the question why have a mirror but that's another question

Wonder if similar can be added to a boat without a "lot" of issue? Blue tooth would be great
