Rear engine lifter eye mounting

I'm putting togheter my mercruiser 350 -95 pre-vortec. I don't know if I have mounted my read engine lifter eye correct. Should the lifter eye be behind the bolt that holds the manifold or should be outside as in the picture?

You want the eye against the manifold, not as in your picture.

Picture looks fine to me,it's the lifting eye that's wrong......lol
