Re: Read this spark plug

I am glad my plow truck does not have spark plugs, as long as I can get it turning over fast enough, it will start.

Bring that plow truck back down to Salmon Creek! Don't know what we are going to do with all this snow piling up. The old boat was not made to plow thru this stuff! Cars slipping an sliding trying to make it up the grade on Hwy 99 from Salmon Creek up to 129th St. My new little Explorer motor right through it all, passing them in the center divider if necessary.

Plug????:scared:

You need to use it more, it's rotting away by sitting most of the year.......:)

I agree. my father leaves his plow truck sit nearly 8 months out of the year and it costs him a ton of money to get it road worthy every year from sitting. I told him to simply drive it once a week.

Okay I do use the truck and run it around....... If I had to point at a problem ............ Vermont has turned to using Salt brine and increased it's use. They pre-treat our roads with it, apply it during the storms and after too. In a gallon there is 23% salt and 77% water...... the colder the temperature the more that is applied until it gets cold enough to apply calcium chloride solution. Since the "solutions" are liquid they get everywhere and are VERY Corrosive. You would not believe the film layers on the window glass that has to be scrubbed off.

AND it's not stuck ;)

Hey, at least we are not complaining about our lawn mower's!!

They make stainless steel spark plugs. Mine were $9 each, but they should last longer than 10 k.

Don't forget to use anti-seize compound on the threads! Of course at this rate, the heads will just pop right off. ;)
