Last week after letting the motor sit for a couple of weeks with out running it, I put the water hose on the motor and started it up .Every thing worked normal. I always do this just in case it won't start at the ramp. Any way I took the boat to the ramp and started it up and away we went. I ran it for about and half an hour and we went to Cabin John Cove cruised around there for a while then pulled over to the side ,shut the motor off and ate lunch. Now here's the problem When I went to start it it wouldn't start. Plenty of fresh gas, It crancked, over battery is new. I may have push the choke it when I first tried to start it ,I'm not sure. Now what did I do wrong. I was towed back to the ramp . Later that day I hooked up the hose, cranked it over and it started .I ran it for a while and shut it off. then I went out an hour later and it started right up. Now here's my problem.I had an I/O for ten years no problem starting the engine. Now I have an 90 hp Merc two stroke. It looks like I need help on re-starting the motor, any Idea's.
