Yep, great recipe. Thanks for bumping it up and saving me having to find it! Going to do a turkey on the rotissere and will soak it in the brine first. YUM!

I don't see why not Spinner. But you'll want to cut the recipe in half or you'll end up with waaaaaaay to much brine solution. Give it a go and let us know how it turns out.

Buy your turkeys now, remember they're frozen. I brine mine 24 hours and it comes out perfect. :) I can't get apple cider 'round here right now, so I will have to use apple juice again and it works great.

As a heartbeat..
We (he's my area) have emailed. ...(I was banned for a reply..see below, (EDITED out...not worth the effort here..)..he aint looked back since..I have been the eyes and ears and kinda kept him up to speed...at the moment he cares less, but I'll prod him a touch, ..but doubt it will work..doubt I'll give it effort either) .I'm side lining myself too..

As of 3 this afternoon my bird was swimming. Will do it on the rotissere tomorrow evening and see how that goes.

Prepared the brine yesterday evening and baptized the bird around 9:00 PM. She'll remain "in treatment" until Thursday AM. Then Its on to the spit where she'll be treated to several hours of charcoal and Applewood generated heat.
