Used to never see Eagles in Indiana. Now, we regularly see them when fishing at Patoka Lake.<br /><br />They were going to build this huge resort and golf course right next to the lake. Found out that the area where they were gonna build all this crap was the Eagle's nesting grounds. Outside pressure forced the builders to build their resort by some other lake. Guess you could say, the Eagles saved us. The area around Patoka lake is wilderness,........ now, because of the Eagle's, it will remain that way.<br /><br />It sends chills down my spine everytime I see 'em, and hear their call.
