Mark, it cuts off no problem when key turned off. with wire disconnected from powerpack it stays running. have to choke it out. yes the kill switch goes through powerpack. <br />You're right about everything you said, I'm apparently having intermittent problems though when the wire is hooked back up, so like OBJ was saying it looks like there's a problem with the wiring or with the switch itself. <br />I gotta get this stuff dealt with, looks like it's gonna be a total washout the next few days (THANK YOU DENNIS VERY MUCH)

Well OBJ, won't be dry around here for awhile, won't be for you either. There's no weather systems or fronts that will push Dennis on out, so it'll be hanging around with us for a few days. In the meanwhile I gotta lookup the correct kill switch part#, the controls diagram on ishopmarine aren't the same as mine. They don't show the kill switch on side like mine has.<br /><br />Mike

Is that the kill switch that has a three fingered key to hold the button in?

great thanks OBJ I'll look into that and twiddle my thumbs until this weather gets on out and I can resume working on my barge
