A common frustration with Ranger Bass Boat owners has been the frequent replacement of the plastic middle seat clip on the 2004 to 2009 models. The plastic tends to break easily and therefore may need replaced 2 to 3 times a season.

Ranger middle seat clip

I was breaking the clip on the middle seat clip on my Ranger 2 or 3 times a season, I just found out that there?s a boater that has a machine shop and he is making aftermarket clips out of aluminum with black anodize finish. I just got mine and its much better then the plastic one. Theres no way this one will break.
