When you have a husky the 5 sec rule doesn't apply.....

Or a doberman. A couple of weeks ago my wife cooked a pound of bacon and left it on a paper towel on a platter too close to the edge of the kitchen island then left the kitchen for a few minutes. ..I was downstairs in the den and she starts yelling at me "did you eat a whole pound of bacon?" I came upstairs and there is a paper towel in the middle of the living room and my dog laying in front of the fireplace in her usual spot with a big smile on her face, not even looking guilty. In law I think the term is "irresistible impulse.".

I'm a funclepa!

one each boy / girl. Adam and Avery. We have not visited yet; both ac and I were travelling on airplanes last week and we want to give a few days to incubate anything we may have picked up. They were a few weeks early, both 18.5" long and both over 6 lbs. I did learn that interracial babies are born white(ish) so we are not sure what color they will end up, but as you can see a white mamma with a head of red - this could be interesting.

first time in our lives we have purchased new furniture form a store. I feel so adult...
/QUOTE]

I would rather spend a day at the dentist, meeting with a divorce lawyer, and dealing with six used cars salesmen than shop for furniture. List prices on furniture are a complete sham and you never walk out with anything without thinking you could have got a better deal.

I always furnished with hand me downs and items bought at estate sales and now I am in my late 70s we are actually using store bought furniture. I figure if I don't spend it now the kids will just go out and waste any money left.
