Compression seems great, I think you may want to pull that horseshoe out of your rear end!! :laugh:

The spark should be a distinct blue arc, nothing yellow-ish or gold. Just ground the plug against the block and turn her over a few times to see what you have.

Your plugs shouldn't be black and/or be covered in carbon or oil. I would get new plugs, ACDelco MR43T are the best plugs, NAPA auto parts normally stocks them. Gap 'em to 0.034
