sooo changed cap, rotor and plugs. Just got plugs changed tonight and it just rolls and rolls over but won't fire. took the wire off the coil and there was a liquid in the tube on top. not much of a smell kind of plasticky. maybe a light oil smell. was reading around a bit and maybe my coil blew and is leaking the oil. this one sits up and down so isn't going anywhere but was definitely fluid at the top of the tube and maybe some residue around the top of the casing. I see that it can cause misfires and shaking and other thing so that maybe whats going on?. maybe it was going for awhile but it has been sitting for a year and when i got it going last week it ran good for a bit then blew and that was fighting me? or would it have stopped running right away? plugs were all pretty black, the tabs inside the cap were green corroded and in the rotor housing i'll call it was all full of crap. how many problems am i dealing with lol I will send some pics. I know this probably sounds like jibberish and I apologize. I just need to get this thing to go before summer over. taking a 2 week vacation and now she won't even start

Lot of corrosion but is normal for them to get that way. Every couple years of so, need to remove and clean contacts

plugs, wires, cap, rotor, still nothing. figured had to be the coil. ordered that. sure enough still nothing.. started testing power to everything and it stopped after the coil. After all this Bull poopy figured it had to be the ignition sensor that was the last link in the line. Found one arrived the next day and BAMMMM!!!!! she fired right up. the other stuff was a few years old so needed to be changed anyway but all along it was the sensor failed and wasn't producing spark. Shes back on the water and purrin like a kitten.
