Rain..rain....cold freaking rain!

It has been raining since last Thursday and the focast says it won't quit until Wednesday and then will rain again this Fri and Sat. It's May and I am going nuts of cabin fever. It will be interesting to see how they are going to get the Indy 500 qualifying done.

I agree, sure wish this low pressure system would go where they need it. I've always said that the Great Lakes Region is a cold weather magnet.<br /><br />Grass grows best between 50 and 60 degrees. One part of my yard usually takes 20 to 30 minuets. I let it go for 2 weeks and took me just a bit over 2 hours to get it mowed. Trying to get my boat together and keep up with the grass is getting impossible.<br /><br />Now when it is out of here, look out for the skeeters, they will be heavy due to this weather.

I am thankful that we are not experiencing any of the extreme conditions like our bretheren in TX, MA or NH.<br /><br />But..... "Trying to get my boat together and keep up with the grass is getting impossible."<br /><br />Grass hasn't been cut for 10 days now. Takes 2 hours in average conditions. Feel like my yard is turning into a jungle. Not to mention my cabin fever.

Hey I've got an idea! Why don't ya'll Texan build some sort of doohickies to catch our rain and divert it toward Texas <br />I don't mind the rain but this week and a half cold snap had put the fish on double secret probation lock jaw, you can't get their mouth open for a bait with a crow bar(sp).

They make these little electrical boxes, that will fit in your shirt pocket, just hook them to your troling battry and drop the le...... "whats that you say dear, thier not legal?" oh well nevermind. disregard this post

I hate the cold and rain too, been raining here since wednsday last week, and it is supposed to rain until sat. I am not going to complain too much about it though, as we do need it. Last summer we got very little rain, the rivers shrunk in width like I have never seen. Its an inconvienence to be sure, but it could be so much worse. If we could share some with ya'll from Texas I'm sure we would, you guys need it.

I hear ya about the rain!!! Been raining here for a week, 16 inches of rain so far and they are predicting 2-3 inches tomorrow!!! no water in my basement, I guess I engineered the run off very well when I built the house in 2000!!! others were not as fortunate, plenty of houses flooded, loaned my pump to a neighbor!!!!<br />we shall see the sun at the end of the week!!!
