Quicksilver controller

My throttle only button quit working, so I took it apart. The problems seems to be the shift gear is not staying together. The snap ring goes on and fits in groove, but does not hold the two shift gear pieces together. So it develops a gap that the ball and spring combination that activates the throttle only button can slide off to one side. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your probably going to need to replace it, unless you can get the parts. If you post some pics and/or give use the model we might be able to find something. Look here for part break downs.

OK. I am not a smart man. The shift gear is broken into two pieces. The break was so clean that I thought it was built that way. Guess now I have to find a part.
