Quick question of mounting holes for a johnson 70 and 90hp

I blew up my Johnson 70 (70esl75e) and found a 1988 Johnson 90 v4 as a replacement. I need to know if the hole pattern where it mounts to the transom is the same...anyone happen to know or are there any resources that I could look up?

Yes, they're the same. OMC standardized their mounting pattern, starting with V4 models in the 1960s, followed by the 3-cylinder models when they came out in 1968, and then 50/55hp 2-cylinder models in the early 1970s. After about 1972, all 50hp & up OMC models used the same bolt pattern.
