Quick & Easy - 4/3L EFI Air Cleaner/Flame Arrestor Stud thread size?

The wing nut to hold on the black engine cover over the flame arrestor is missing on my new-to-me boat. I'm away from the boat today and will be hitting the hardware store later. Can anyone tell me the thread size? It's not 1/4-20.

This boat is brand new to me so I'm still not even sure what's metric vs. imperial.

I just bought two 1/4 x 28 wing nuts for my 4.3 flame arrestor. One is a spare in case I lose one. Mine is a 1987 so I am not sure if they have changed the thread size over the years.

Ayuh,... As far as I can remember it's 1/4" -28...
