Is there a trick to installing this sleeve onto the exhaust bellows? I’ll be changing them all out very soon & just don’t want not be prepared is all.

That compression ring does not go into the exhaust bellows, it goes into the aft portion of the u joint bellows.

There is a special tool for installing it, large plastic, shouldered insert tool with a prop shaft and decent hammer, power tune on the sleeve/bellows helps with install.

I've heard of folks installing the compression ring with power tune and bare hands/fingers. Never tried myself

I just know it as insert tool and by sight. Unknown part number but it should be listed under special tools in both the bravo and alpha Gen 2 oem manuals. #14 & #28

If you use "Power-Tune" from Mercury is pushes in by hand

you can put power-tune on a buick and push it into a cat door.
