I have a 2005 21' Ebbtide BR. The previous owner had painted the hull due tto the fact that they stored it in a wet slip. The paint is 90% chipped-off and gone. I have two questions:
1) What should I do to remove the remaining paint on the hull (*NOTE* The boat is painted to the water line and the gel-coat below the paint is non-existent)?
2) Do I need to clean the hull afterwards with an acid based cleaner? (ie. The Works Toilet bowl cleaner)
I would appreciate any help as well as recommendations of paints that have performed well for you in fresh water.
Thanks
