Question on a certain bolt size for my mercruiser 140

Does anyone know what size bolt the alternator braket takes on my mercruiser 140? It came out somehow, nowhere to be found. I did a search but came up with nothing. Just wondering if anyone knew? Thanks!

I have a 87 searay , all i know is that its a mercruiser 140hp. Its on the bottom end of the alternator bracket. i have a manual for the motor but it dosent say. Its the bracket that attaches the alternator to the motor. theres 2 bolts, its the bottom one thats missing

3/8 x 2in long should work.
