Hey folks. New here and hope this is allowed. Haven't come across other forums to ask.

So we have an old Eagle Fish ID II and we had a mouse over the winter make a nest and chewed through the transducer cable. So I am wondering where one would purchase a replacement. I can't seem to find an Eagle website so not sure if they are out of business or if they are just hidden. I see Bass Pro Shop sells replacement transducers but have no idea if they are compatible. Appreciate any ideas.

The cable can be spliced back together. I believe Airmar make a coupler/ splicer for that.(30-35.00) wires are all color coded I used one recently and it works flawlessly .

That's likely the only option. A used one isn't worth $60-80. Better invested in a new unit.

If the cable is easily accessible you could just solder the wires back together. They are a very small diameter so trying to put terminal ends on them may be a challenge vs small wire twist / solder / actual coupler made for it.

Yea it's mounted on the electric trolling motor so everything is exposed and easy to work on.

You can splice them. You “ might” loose a bit of tuning but most of the time you don’t. I have the same unit, still working 20 plus years later.

If it’s not in a wet location, splice it back together with Scotchloks.

Simple and easy to do.

Eagle fish finders were/are made by Lowrance. Try the Lowrance web site, see if you can contact someone there.
