could someone help me with some measurements?

1. what's the floor footprint of the factory console?

2. how far forward of the transom is the rear edge of console?

3. what's your guesstimate of angle of instrument panel relative to vertical?

gracias.......

thanks gents! i finally decided to convert the Holiday to a CC, although i'm planning on trying to leave the closed bow to build dry lockable storage under. i've gotten the console bits bought and cut out....much agonizing on whether to build it "normal" height or to fit me, ended up compromising at 45" high. i'll post pix in the holiday thread once i get it looking more like a console and less like slabs of birch ply.

yeah, been working on it for better part of a week. should finally be looking like a console tonight so i can get some pix. unlike the factory console, i'm not building in a jump seat. if i decide i need one, i think i'll install an aux fuel tank just forward of console and have cushion custom made to fit on top.

spent lots of time cutting and gluing in oak trim/bracing to try to eliminate any warpage in the ply. also cut a huge access door in the side and spent a lot of time making it watertight since all my electrics cept the starting battery will live in console. this will make the resto of the Holiday easier too since i can do most of my wiring with the console out of the boat and then just drop it in and connect.

pretty happy with what i have so far. my progress on carpentry/cabinetry projects is usually an exercise in controlled terror: when will i splinter that super visible board or drill through the face? but so far, i've been able to keep Murphy at bay on this.
