I have just completed my first 20 hours. I ran the first 10 at up to max 3000 rpm and then ran the second at up to 4000 rpm...
Was out again this weekend after the 20 hours is complete. I was at maybe 3/4 down on remote to get to 4000 rpm, I was WOT yesterday and could not get past approx. 4200 rpm and that was pushing it? The remote does very little from the 85% to 100% down position, its maxed out at about 85% down.
This is all stock, prop stock, everything seems right. Read book again and see its max 4950 rpm but WOT should be 4400-4800 rpm. So this also gets me to only 62 KPM on the GPS. (38-39 mph).
Anyone have any advice? I don't have tabs on, I have put on the brackets though, never tried the tabs till after break in so they haven't changed anything. Brackets are obviously not dragging either, only thing below water is the engine and the transducer set in the right position. My dealer is 2.5 hours away and would rather not bring it there till season end, since I am handy and mechanical if needed also.
Thanks
