Have a PWC lifting sling I bought several years ago. Its a Erickson (Made in China) rated at 1000 lbs and says right on it "use at your own risk". Did not notice the label when I bought it, but did understand the rating.

Have lifted using it numerous times. Used it today, lift a bit and go back down re-position and lift again until its balanced even. The PWC is about 4 inches off the trailer and one side of the webbing tears loose. It tore right at the stitching

Aqua cart makes one rated at 2000 lbs $400 and ProHoist rated 1500 $170

Thinking about using one of my Kinedyne ratchet straps and replace the strapping with it. Just need a way to attach (don't have a sewing machine large enough)

What are others using

if you use dynema rope (sail boat rigging rope), I can send you splice information.

That would be strong and looks like double braid, and as shallow water sailor I know how to splice. Guess the issue would be there is only about 5/16 slot to pass thru (made with webbing)

It's strong but leaning toward quality 2 inch strap and sliders. This way I don't need to sew it together (have sail palm). Will look for ones with a load rating specified

This would allow me to adjust and be good

we used to make bridles for tender handling and jet ski handling, however the SeaDoo labeled ones were available for less than the labor it takes to make them.

Bought 4 - 2in wide, 4ft long lifting slings from US Cargo

The slot on the bracket is so tight I had to cut away the vinyl to get sling eye thru. Debated on to push eye through the slot and use a bolt of some sort to keep eye being pulled back thru, or loop the sling back thru the eye. The loop back won

Now need 2 more shackles or see if I can find a metal lifting ring and loop back in similar fashion
