pull start works great!! However......

when I use the electric starter, the engine turns over, but will not start! Any Ideas??

this is on a Nissan 15HP 4 stroke...

Might help if you tell people what motor you have, not every outboard is the same

It could be anything....It's like telling your doctor that you don't feel well and asking her to take a guess. Maybe it's because you have pancreatic cancer, maybe it's because you didn't get enough sleep.

H28, You need to get specific on the model and serial so we can really identify your motor.

Check the obvious things. When did this problem start? Is the stop lanyard clipped in? Is the fuel line primed? Is the choke working? If it's an RC setup, are you pushing in on the key to operate the electric choke? If it's a model with ABS solenoid (instead of choke), does the motor run OK after it is warmed up?
