How hard is it to pull a Volvo Penta SX out drive? I'm semi mechanically inclined and would like to do the maintenance on my bearings myself if it's not all that difficult.
Click here to download the oem service manual for that drive. Starting on page 227 is the remove and replace instructions.
You probably don't have a lift, but you can put the drive all the way down and put a board under the skeg so it won't drop works fine.
