In the motor or on the bottom where are you going to use teflon? Personally its not going to help in either case.

You will find folks that claim PTFE works on anything, including boat motors, lower units, and hulls.<br /><br />If it was the miracle plastic they claim it to be, we would all be getting 30,000 hours out of a motor.<br /><br />But we don't, do we.
