I recently purchased this boat with an optimax on it. it has a 4 bade prop but want to go to the traditional 3 blade but cant find the proper prop that should go on. I was looking on craigslist and found a 14.25x24p stainless steel. does anyone know if this is ok with my engine. if not does anyone know the proper size for this engine.

What are your WOT RPMs with the 4 blade prop? Why do you want to go with a 3? Most people go from a 3 to a 4 for a better hole shot.

You need to go down in pitch. Figure 200 RPM per 1" change to get you to your recommended RPMs at WOT.
