Prop shaft bent

Can a prop shaft be straightened? Have a 20 hp Mariner with a bent shaft. Will it hurt to run with a bent shaft?

Yes it can be straightend at a good machine shop that Knows what they doing. NO HEAT. and a Press with V blocks to measure.
NO. I would not run it. you would only do more damage.
The difference between a good shaft and a bad shaft is only a few thousand of being straight. .02
