Thanks for the help you'all, I'm gonna order a hustler 10x15 and I'm ck'ing out these tiny tach's. I like the fact you can change out these props (hustler) for $40, if I don't get the pitch right,(RPM), it won't hurt real bad, and I will have a spare. Ed I hope you decide to try out these tabs, they really make a world of differance. Rather than use the sheet metal screws provided I drilled and tapped a couple of short pieces of 3/8x1 1/2 aluminum strips and used 1/4 20 bolts to attach the tabs to the transom(put the aluminum pieces inside) Felt better about it as my transom is probobly 1/8 thick and adding a little meat there seemed like a good idea. Goooed it all up with 5200, it is stronger now than before. best of luck,...river

I plan on making it a spring project. I have an 1 1/2" transom, but I'll consider your solution.<br />The 5200 alone would probably hold. At least it should never leak.
