Hi, i'm looking to see if i have the right size prop on my motor. The motor is a 1998 evinrude 130hp the prop size i have on it now is14.8x17. is there a chart or a way to find out?
thank you
Your correct prop size depends in what size and weight boat it is on.Secondary considerations would be typical; load and activities.
Your wot rpm and gps speed lightly loaded with the present prop will help as well.
Your 17 may be correct but depends on the boat and the present performance.
