Wondering what products people have had good luck with after wet sanding. Do you compound with twisted wool pad and then go to a oxidation remover and then to a wax?

I used Meguires ultra-cut 105 and a buffer with a wool pad. Mine was originally sanded with 400 grit to get rid of oxidation as a starting point. then 1000 1500 3000 then buff. Then Ardex ocean polymer for wax.

Plenty of elbow grease......

Chev' has you covered on some of the cutting compounds. I use a variable and digitally setable rpm polisher to do my buffing. They are about $60 at harbor freight during the sales

Ok sounds good. I have a porter cable dual action polisher as well as a Makita polisher/sander for the larger projects. Just need to find a wool pad to fit it
