Best to start a new thread with your question comptre, you have a different carb and different linkage so whatever he found wouldn't fix your problem anyway.

I never did solve the problem this year, but mine also diesels a bit at shut down. Local shop recommended a complete carb re-build which i was going to do in the off season as i didn't want to lose any time on the water. I'll let you know if we come up with anything though. Let me know if you solve the problem.
