Problem with 93 Evinrude 115 2 stroke

I am having a problem with my outboard starting.

Make: Evinrude 115 2 stroke w/trim and tilt
Model No. E115TLETS

My engine was running fine yesterday with no problems. Tried to go out today and couldn't get it to start. Sounds like it wants to kick over but doesn't. I thought maybe the engine was flooded from all the attempts to start. Pulled all plugs and let it air out for about 2 hours and still nothing.

Other things I have already tried:

1. Changed/Tested both batteries brand new. (good)
2. Checked all power and ground wiring. (good)
3. Changed spark plugs and checked for spark. (good)
4. Checked all parts of fuel line for prime from tank to filter on motor. (good)

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most starter problems are from dirty cable connections. If they are clean and tight check the voltage at the starter while trying to start, if you have battery voltage at the starter and the starter will not preform properly, remove the starter and have it checked.

Thanks for the reply.

The starter kicks out and cranks the motor. It's reading 10v while crankin. I just replaced the started last month. Any other suggestions?

Are you positive you are getting fuel? Spray some pre mix down the carbs and see if you can get it to fire. If it does, you know you have a fuel issue. If it doesn't, you have an electrical issue. At least then you know which direction to go.

You may have a weak battery, if you have only 10 volts while cranking. The engine needs to spin at least 250 rpm in order for the ignition to fire the plugs.

Batteries were brand new. Just purchased in mid August and I have a battery diagnostic tester to check the CCA and Voltage as well as the charge/percentage. That reading was taken after spending countless hours trying to get the motor to start. However I did even attempt to jump start the motor and it still wouldn't turn over.

Keefallan- Well I didn't check the carbs yet. I know that fuel is getting to the filter on the block though....I'll try and give that a shot.

When you are cranking the engine, but it won't start, are the spark plugs wet or dry?

The day that I first had the problem the plugs were a little wet. So I figured might have flooded the engine in all the attempts to start...Pulled the plugs let the motor air out for a day, bought new plugs installed and nothing.

Always possible that wet plugs may indicate they are not firing. I'd hook an inductive timing light up to each plugwire when you try to start it. The timing light will show the condition/quality of the spark.

Your battery is only as good as the cables it is connected to.
Pristine condition battery connected to a bad cable = failure
Clean all the connections and check them all properly for damage to them. Replace if in doubt or necessary.
Beyond that give it the basic health check.
Compression
Spark
Fuel delivery
Spark plug condition

How did you check for spark so far ???

Is your primer solenoid working properly? Red handle turned so that it is aligned with the base?

Battery cables voltage drop tested?

I know I'm simplifying things greatly when I make then next statement. But the motor is just a big air pump. Bring some air in, add some gas, compress it, and then explode it! ABRACADABRA...... an engine(air in-air-out). What I mean is this: you have the air, you seem to have the fuel, what's missing? spark? Compression? My point is, break it down section at a time so that you can rule it out. I think it's electric issues(personally). It won't run without compression either

Does anyone think the flywheel key is sheared off?
