Need advice: i'm getting ready to look at a 1989 Tracker Pro 17 model w/40 hp Johnson motor,35 # thrust trolling motor Fish finder new seats bilge pump aerater for live well all new,Power trim & tilt,trailer is in good shape stored every winter one owner I know sounds to good But was wondering what a decent price for this boat .He's asking $3500.00 firm what do you think?

N.A.D.A. has it listed at $1480.00 base price with a 40 horse engine so take it from there with the extras.
That includes the price of the trailer also.
It also states boats in real good shape will be a tad higher.

i just recently puchased a '86 V17 tournament tracker for $2450. NADA had it listed for roughly about $1500-1600 (boat, motor, trailer) but yet when I got my insurance for it they insured it for the agreed amount of $4500. That's a big difference. If you look at motors alone they run over 1K for that HP.
